Anime that made you cry

i just got finished watching saikano and it was the most saddening moroseful depressing despondent woeful heartwrenching tearjerking anime series i have ever watched. it made me cry more than i thought was possible and it moved me to the depths of my soul. This anime made me want to live and keep on living, it made me appreciate life. This got me wondering have any of you seen an anime that made you cry or move you in a special way?

not really. usually i remember that it's fake and it doesnt affect me tghen.

good point. not that being hounest is a bad thing.

you know what you guys should be real men and admit your feelings everybody has a good cry now and then (oh no i just sounded sooo gay quick cover it up by saying something macho) well umm i gonna go drink some booze sex up some ladies and shoot big guns (yeah i think that did it now they won't think i gay)

true everyone cries now and then but not to a tv show. especially an anime. but if u do then i geus ur in touch with ur feelings more than most men.

connsarnnit i wish i had never made this discussion but i really did cry while watching saikano though. its actually kinda weird because real life tradegies never make me cry in fact some times i find them to be funny but movies and anime always get me you know. I'm probably gonna regret saying this but a lot of Disney movies make me cry especially the little mermaid when she sings <A part of your World> what can i say i guess im just a backwards guy

I've never cried during an anime but I cried once during naruto manga....

...i was more annoyed how it ended she should have just kept killing...i love that side of her (sub) didnt care for the english

i never cried during anime nor manga but their have been times i think i would have been ok with it. Full Metal Alchemist Death or Maes Hughes(ive know a few people cried on that one..as well as Spikes death on Cowboy Bebop
