not sure but iv also noticed that most anime now are short and have less story line as well. it sucks for the good ones.

What im more worried about is "fan girl" effect...I feel because of that we end up halfass anime endings which ruin great or pretty good anime. i pretty sure you can name a few...in which the anime was good then had a crappy ending or better yet one of the no endings type deals like "Inuyasha" all that time spent watching that one for the ending....

There are those 1 shot animes like FMA but they are really .... really good.
And then theres animes like naruto bleach and one piece that are long and good. :]
