i agree with phantom on this one either the large paragraph or simplified methods can be used i only did it this way because it lets us get a feel of the characters personality and type[quick, power magic etc,]

so do it whatever way u want its fine.
so if u have ur character and stuff decided just put it up that way then to simplify it.

Today was going to be my first day working as the kings lackey and i hated every second of it but i didn't have a choice either i joined his precious Elite Guard or he slaughtered everyone of my those men that fought along side me. People like him are the are the scourge of the world unfit to walk among us, every time a man like that gets just a little bit of power they abuse it. I will kill Alfred III if its the last thing i do.

Artel is called from his room and escourted to the Ante-chamber of Alfred III private quarters. There was to be a meeting congratulating the new recruit for making it into the elite guard. He looks around the room and two people stick out far more than the others

Artel:[in a whisper] Who the hells that olg guy he look at least 70 and that freak with the mask looks nice too aww well its probably just to hide his ugly mug. OH! he's coming this way

today was going to be my first day accepting jobs from the capital. iv been trying to stay away from large crowded areas like that but the mercenary work in the small villages and such were small paying and i wasnt getting my abilities tested like i wanted. so i decided to take a chance and went to the tavern where mercenary work is posted and clients meet mercenarys who might accept the job. i found one from an offficial in the palace to take out some bandits who were becoming a problem. rather then waste soldiers they sent a job request instead. i grabbed the bill for the quest off the wall and entered the palace to meet my employer and get the details like their location.i found the room and showed the guards there the bill and was allowed entry. i found a spot to stand and thats when i met him...

ur turn artel. take it from there.

Artel: Hey hows it going you look the only other person who isn't in the military whats your name?
before the mysterious masked man could answer a bolt of lightning streamed through the air making exotic arc before landing in the place where Artel had just been. He managed to dodge it but just barely the lightning singed the back of his clothes.
Artel: What the Hell!!!! Who did that [silence] !!! i'd like to know who just tried to kill me
it was me an old man exclaimed mere inches from Artel
I am Zeke one of the twelve Magna Guard and unless you want to die i suggest you do as i say. you there boy ... ... yes the masked one escort my friend out side both of you will fighting for your lives!!! This is a test to discern your worth to us. Win and you will be accepted by all lose and you die the choice is all your really do you have what it takes to face me!!!

Remember to differentiate between What the character is saying (name), what the narator is saying and what the character is thinking(paranteeses or brakets)

left without much choice i followed artel and the old man to the courtyard in the middle of the palace. wondering what was happening i touched the handle of my sword and was reasurred by its pessence. (Neo: it seems i was right to bring it along) he thought to himself as they moved towards the middle.
Neo: hey old man just exactly what are we doing here? are we supposed to fight someone?
im just here for a contract. i dont need to do this. im a mercenary not a soldier.
Zeke laughs. hahahahaha. Zeke: (who do u think put up that request? thatas right it was me. that bill was meant for a group of people but u came here by urself. it intriged me so u get to take this test as well. so listen well. u two will be fighting together against a pack of 10 demon werewolfs. we captured them in the forest awhile back for just this kind of event. demon werewolfs are larger, stronger and posses the ability to slice through stell with their claws. quite good opponets for 2 who possese little use of magic. hahaha.)

Neo:hahaha. is that all u wanted? to test my skills. u should have just put that in the bill. these little puppies are nothing impressive. this person beside me is going to be a elite guard and u dont need to know who i am yet.

Neo looks at artel:( lets take these things down.)

(ur turn artel.)

The demonic werewolves swarm around us in a circle ready to pounce on their prey.
Artel: huh? 10 of them. well we better get started. Hey! mask face don't slow me down
Neo:Likewise
As soon as we unsheathed our weapons the beasts charged. Artel ducks under one of them cutting it from neck to nave.
Artel: Aww your gonna have to do better than that.
As more seemed to come Neo and Artel worked together as one unit quickly dispatching most of the beasts.
Artel:damn he's fast that blade looks heavy enough to cut through marble but he's moving it like a butterknife.
Neo:lookout behind you. Without thinking Artel does a backflip onto the beast and drives both of his daggers into its eyes. The demon wails in agony as Artel "drives" it into a pack of other werewolves kicking and screaming and mortally wounding most of them.
Neo: Somehow i don't think that was a part of your plan
Artel: who needs a plan i just kinda making it up as i go. I didn't even think that would work.
Now there only stood three more, they were scared though you could see it in their eyes. with each step that the two warriors took the demons cringed and backed away.
Neo: i'm through playing these games. Neo roared as hey jumped high into the air. he came down like a flash cutting one of the beasts in half, but for all the veracity of this move it proved useless. The blade now drove deep into the ground and the last two were coming straight for him in a frontal assualt claws poised and ready to attack.
Artel: you better hope this works! Artel yelled as he takes out his bow and fires two arrows simultaneously. The arrows soar through the air over top of each other and just before the the beasts are about to pounce on Neo, the first arrow hits the first wolf in the eye. The second arrow goes through the first wolfs open mouth and connects with the others jaw.
Artel: yes!
As the wounded wolves careen towards the now armed Neo they are reduced to peices in a flash.
Artel: How did you do that?
Neo: its called focus. i would thank you but seeing as you hit them on just dumb luck i think i'll just thank myself.
Artel:Oh screw you. Your the one who had his sword stuck in the ground if i hadn't saved you. you would be puppy chow
Neo:Hardly i could have handled myself
Artel: Oh yeah well why didn't you.....
As the two continued to argue Zeke marveled at the feat that they had just accomplished. It had taken 30 of our bet trained guards to bring those demons in and these two men managed to kill them all. I knew there was something special about them but this is remarkable Zeke interrupts their petty bickering and announce that they have passed the test then walks away with a smug grin on his face. The test was now over but this was just the beginning of Artel and Neo's life as Elite guards of Elggard

artel: ow right i never got ur name. and u didnt get mine. after accomplishing that test together we should at least know each others names dont u think? il go first. my name is artel and i was once known as the king of thieves.
Neo: very well i suppose theres no harm in telling u now. my name is Neo and im known as Phantom Neo in the mercenary business. so how did u get put up in that test? narrator: artel told phantom the gist of his story keeping out the parts about trying to kill the king as a precaution. when he was done he asked Neo his story he told him what replied that he cant tell him and artel decided to drop the subject for now as he remembered what neo said had brought him here and decided he wanted to help. if only to see more of the skills he posseses. he offered his help to neo and he accepted saying that he can see artel stumble along again giving a slight chuckle as he said it. they followed after the old man to a small room with 2 windows. once inside he closed the doors and told them that his name was Zeke for anyone of them who didnt know him. he then gave the details. they were to go to greenwoods plains where the bandits had made their base and tkae out their leader and any bandits they wished. they had recently raided a small village and were holding the villagers as prisoners. they were to free the town first then take over their base freeing any captives they might have there. he gave them each a badge to show they were hired by the pakace and told them to meet him at this spot again upon there return.
and with that they grabbed 2 horses and set off.

(ur turn artel) (hey u should have them meet that girl u had planned in the town who helps them once they free her and she decides to tag along with us after or something.)

as the two set out for greenwood plains Artel couldn't wait he wanted to see just how these bandits squirmed under the power of two real warriors. In just a few shorty minutes they reached the entrance to the village where two guards were slacking off.
Artel: Hey sunshine!! Artel shouted as he let loose a couple arrows in their direction. The arrow landed mere inches from the bandits necks.
Artel: Hey now why don'y you tell me where that loser of a boss is hiding so we can kill him and we might just spare your lives. And don't even think about running or trying to attack us or my college here might just cut you in half.
Bandit: um he's in the mayors house its the last and biggest house in the whole village you can "talk" there if you want
Artel: thanks now die!!! .... two more arrows flew in their direction now Neo
Neo:OK. with a flick of his wrist the men were defeated. You know that was pretty sneaky of you
Artel: hey they moved on their own they wanted to die
Neo: Hmmph any way lets get going
Artel: fine by me. [whispers] i'll take out the four archers while we ride along act natural they won't shoot until we stop

<ur turn lets see how u handle an action scene>

they started down the road and as soon as they were in the open artel launched 4 arrows simultaneously into the archers by the gate without stoping killing them instantly. with the archers gone the bandits hiding around the square swarmed out to intercept the threat.
artel: i killed the archers now its ur turn.
neo: u killed like what 4 of them. theres like 30 foot soldiers here! aw ow well il finish them quick. GO!
on that command artel threw a smoke bomb into the bandits mist giving neo the cover he wanted.
fusing his blade with black lightning he blasted the bandits ranks with its full force killing 20 of the thirty bandits in an instant. the remaining bandits shocked at this display of power start to fall back but as another 30 bandits arrive from the rest of the town to back them up they got brave and attacked again.
artel wanting some action threw 2 daggers at the horsemens feet causing them to fall over on the nearby bandits and just missing neo who was killing them 1 at a time next to it.
neo: u did that on purpose!!!
artel: what of course i didnt. the enemy brought out horseman so i took them out. not my fault u were in my way.
neo: aww forget u im getting bored of these lightweights. in a flash he was gone using focus and the bodies of 20 bandits were ripped to shreds when he reapered again. one more strike should do it and with another blast of his black lightning the rest of the bandits were taken out. except for 1 who neo had intentionaly let live to to tell the boss they were coming and to realease the hostages before they got mad.
2 more bandits tried to escape and artel beheaded them with his twin daggers before getting back on his horse to continue towards the meyers house.
however just as the6y made it to the house they found the townspeople rounded up on the road with 30 bandits ( the last ones in the town) inbetween them and t5he 2 warriors. they declared that they would kill all the villages if they took even one more step forward. neo left with no other choice decided to reveal the power of his weapon. using focus he dissapeared from view behing the meyers house that stood between the villagers and the warriors. with a smile on his face he called his swords name. awaken mighty ALBION! instantly the blade of the sword flared to life causing the black blade to glow red. then with a powerful swing he sliced through the building almost all the way out the other side causing the building to collapse on top of the unsuspecting bandits. before they could get out of the way the building fell on them killing all the bandits who warnt with the villagers. then just as the scared bandits tried to kill the villagers neo appeared in a flash and with an arial dive took out the leader using quickblade to slice up the remaining bandits. however one bandit escaped deeath to that point. and moved to kill the nearest villager. a young woman. neo was caught off gaurd and unable to move fast enough however just as his blade came town a arrow flew through the hand of the bandit destroying the hand with a second one killing the bandit. the girl rushed up to meet the man who had just saved her life...

Girl: oh wow thank you for saving us on behalf of the entire village of Tenhra. My name is Anna
Artel: Aww it was nothing we were ordered to anyway, were from the capital Elggard city.
Neo:[i dont get any thanks and i did most of the work] your village is once again safe
Anna: oh and thank you too masked hero
Neo: [thats more like it] there's no need to thank me its all in my job description you see we're elite guards from the palace
Artel: yeah yeah whatever... so there Anna was it go tell your mayor that your village is once again safe
with that Anna rushes off to tell the mayor
Artel: that was easy enough
Neo: YOU BASTARD YOU DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!!!!!
Artel: i helped a little
Neo: uhh must have used too much power can't stay awa.... Neo collapses falling asleep
Anna: Oh my god is he ok
Artel: yeah he's ok he's just sleep i'll just throw him over my horse and be on my way
Anna: that is simply unacceptable i can't let the saviors of this town leave while they are so wounded please stay at least until your friend wakes up
Artel:[were both fine. i got a little dusty but i'm not hurt at all but it would be a waste of a free meal] Fine we stay but only for dinner. Artel picked up Neo and followed Anna to a modest log cabin. Anna went into the kitchen and started preparing dinner. Thirty minutes later Just as Anna walks back into the bedroom Neo wakes up
Neo: hmm what smells so good
Anna: the food i hope. As they all walked into the kitchen a luxurious feast awaited them filled with so many different foods it seemed almost unreal. they ate in a jolly delight.
Anna: i hope you enjoyed the food
Both: we most certainly did.
Neo: we should be getting back now i need to report back to Zeke as soon as possible. He began walking back to his horse. As soon as Neo was out of earshot Anna said.
Anna: take me with you.[crying] I don't belong here, i can do things that the other villagers can't and it scares them. They hate me thats why my cabin is on the outskirts of the town. i can't go on living like this i can't... go... on....
Artel:its ok i'll take you with us, in the capital everything will be ok. Anna began to blush and buried he face deep into his chest to hide her embarassment
Artel: come on lets go dry those eyes and lets go. we can leave as soon as you pack
Anna: no i don't need anything from here i only have this one dress anyway everything else the villagers stole and sold to keep the bandits from taking their stuff all i had left was the food we ate earlier
Artel: its ok i'll buy you some clothes.
With that said and done Anna joined Artel and Neo on their journey back to the capital and the palace
<ur move>

once the palace was in sight neo ask anna and artel a question.
neo: so anna where were u going to stat? is artel going to arrange a room for u? or are u staying i n his house? [neo laughs as anna blushes] artel: i thought she could stay at my house. she would be lonely in the palace and from what happened only 2 days ago i dont trust leaving someone here alone. of course ur a different story neo. feel free to stay in the palace alone all u want. [laughs as neo throws a gagger at him. just missing his head.]
neo: dang i missed.
artel: someone cant take a joke today.
neo: shut up.
they went back to the palace and reported their liberation of the town. zeke who was impressed with their results gave them both 2 days rest before sending them off to finish off the bandits as they earned the rest. once back outside the palace anna asked neo a question
anna: hey ur names neo right? neo: ya. anna: so neo what do u do in the palace? are u an elite guard like artel?
neo: no actually im a mercenary. i was in the palace to accept a job request. artel only said i was an elite guard there for reputation porposes.
artel: hey u should come to my place to neo. i want to show my new aquantice my house. or at least i call it a house.
neo: not just yet. i want to go home and cleam up a bit first. artel ok meet me back at the palace in about 2 hours then. alright neo. neo: sure il be there.
and with that the 2 warriors split up for home to get ready for later. however when neo was out of view and artel and anna had started walking again. they heard a loud thuding sound and an explosion in the direction neo went in. fearing neo mightev been suprised attacked artel grabbed a couple weapons for anna and took off in the direction of the explosion...

(ur turn artel) (i left anna's weapon selection up to u. just receal them in next post.) (to let u know neo will be fighting an assasin paid for by the fire kingdom. hes still weak and cant use his full power.)

Artel and Anna rushed off in a hurry
Artel: do you know how to use any of those
Anna: i'm not sure... wait i think these might do, Anna said as she picked up two artfully crafted wooden tonfa
Artel: good. Soon in an open clearing they spotted Neo he had his sword to his side and there was blood on the ground.
Anna: Neo are you ok
Neo: no stay back. Damn that bastard grazed me. i never expected anyone to cast magic at such close range. He used wind magic to cut me we were sword locked.
Assassin: more intruders now all of you have to die i'll start with the girl. The assassin sped in the direction of Anna sword cocked he intended to finish her in one blow. Before the assassin could reach the girl Anna's eyes lit up turning purple and thats when it happened. As if she had been taken over by someone else she side stepped the man attack disarmed the befuddled assailant and broke almost every bone that could be broken in an artfully deadly twirl of those wooden bludgeons. When she finished seconds the man crumpled and folded up he had passed out from the excruciating pain and i could see why. He wasn't dead but he probably wished he was his bones were set at odd angles that defied nature. No one spoke a word as they looked toward the impossible feat the girl had just accomplished. They just stared Then Anna said Oh IT must have happened again huh?

Bio: Date Masamune is a Japanese samurai of the 16th century period. His the successor of a large and powerful clan called the 'Aizu Clan'. The Aizu Clan is one of the few clans in the United States of Japan that still have independence over their territory. Date is an outstanding tactician, he was made all the more iconic for his missing eye. A case of smallpox attacked his eye and would have killed had Date Masamune not gouged out his own eye. For this, he is called the "one-eyed dragon"


No one knows certainly of his swordsman ship except that he uses 6 swords during a battle, 3 on one hand and 3 on the other. Date, is not very fond about the current leader of the Aizu Clan, named Aizu.

sounds good. with more people the story will become more unique. i wonder what ur character will do on his own in a new nation. i suppose we will find out. ( i was thinking that we should act as pairs or something so we each have someone to work with untill the characters meet each other whenever. what do u think?

just so everyone knows u dont have to make ur own nation. u can always join someone elses if they let u or joinh the kingdom of fire that i created as the enemy of the nation artel created. so anyone can use it to if they want.

Anna is a girl that was rescued from a group of bandits hiding out in the village of Tenhra. She is a very kind hearted and gentle person despite her being treated so badly. Although she was residing in the village no one really knew where she was born or how she got to the village. One day as one of the women were gardening they found a young girl wandering through the forests outside of town. When she found out that the little girl had no idea who she was she decided to take her in and care for her like one of her own; she named the girl Anna. The other villagers protested that a girl like her should never be allowed to live inside the village; girls born with hair the color of flames is an ill omen in the village of Tenhra. Many of the villagers told her that the girl was no good but she saw something different when she looked into that childs green eyes so she couldn't bring herself to let her go. Eventually the villagers agreed to let her stay if she moved to the outskirts of town and there she was isolated from everyone else. Whenever Anna would try to play with the other children they would be mean to her, cruel even once while playing outside her house a group of boys came by to pick on Anna the boldest boy picked out a rock and threw it at her. Thats when she had her first "episode" her eyes glowed purple and she caught the rock in mid air and threw it back at him. The boy who was now walking away in triumph fell to the ground second later as blood began to pour from his head. After this incident the villagers feared her calling her a witch and a monster but she didn't care as long as she had her mother, but the woman who had cared for Anna for the past 16 years was dying she had fallen ill and none of the doctors in the village wanted to help the mother of the wretched witch girl... a few months later she died. When Artel and Neo rescued the village from the bandits she thought that they were the only other people that were nice to me (Artel in particular) so she decided to run away from all of her troubles with them.

Her power is very unique in short she can do anything that her predecessors before her have done. (i'll explain in depth later on)

Zeke is the oldest member of Alfred III's entire military but don't let his age fool you he is by far the strongest person in the nation of Elggard perhaps even the world. He uses a very unique style of fighting of his own creation. He combines martial arts with magic in a new and innovative way that far exceeds just fighting and casting. Only a few have actually seen him fight and even fewer have lived to tell the tale. The most infamous display of his power is when he upon the request of an overzealous new recruit fought in the Elite Guard test of Mettle. There were 40 candidates that day and not a single one passed. Zeke told them if he could be harmed in any way that all 40 of them would pass. The entire squad rushed him and everyone was defeated in a split second and by a twig he found on the ground. Some people say that he wasn't even using his true strength that day but nobody really knows. He also acts as the Kings royal adviser
